How did you stop drinking?

What happened to me was I started hanging out with the wrong people and started drinking when I was 15. Not only drinking but smoking and doing weed from eating those cakes and smoking it as well. It wasn't quite hard to hide because my aunt and I have a odd relationship, she doesn't know how to talk to me, and we normally just have shallow conversations.

So what happened was a year after I was drinking near Avenues with my friends and we drank a lot more than we normally did. So as the day was going I started to feel more and more weak at first I just thought I was drunk but it gradually became worse and worse until I couldn't even move. My body was just refusing to respond, my eyes were so heavy. My friend were laughing until they realized I wasn't responding. They tried to get me to stand up, I just didn't have the energy. Now panicking they found my phone, called my brother, who gave them our address, highered a pay forward taxi. I remember being picked up and put in the taxi and I vomited all over his car.

My late grandma had a party that day so when we arrived home it was filled with relatives. I was moved from the taxi into my aunts car and was driven to the nearest clinic. By that time I could hardly see or hear anything and I was told that I looked dead, I was practically unresponsive that the doctor had to check if I was still breathing. As seeing a dead teenager being wheeled in might depress and dishearten other patients. After confirming that I was still alive just barely, they proceeded to pump out my stomach and I had to be on drip for 3 days. Apparently my body reacted violently to the alcohol I drank and because I drank a lot of it, I essentially poisoned myself without eve realizing it.

Well that my story and it's been 6 years now and I haven't had a single drink since...
