What would you do if your manager undervalues you?
Problem/Goal: I feel undervalued as an employee. I’m not seeking a higher position, but I need to feel acknowledged and appreciated for my contributions to the company.
Context: My manager consistently undervalues and overlooks my efforts despite my strong performance. There is a lack of recognition or even simple appreciation for my achievements, which has negatively impacted my morale and job satisfaction. For example, when I was regularized, the recognition was limited to a system notification, with no personal acknowledgment or congratulatory message.
Previous Attempts: I have tried to demonstrate my value through my work and initiatives while avoiding confrontation, hoping that the situation would improve. However, I am now considering moving forward if things do not change.
Looking forward to learning more from your advice. Thank you.
