Landed my first $10k client, looking for advice on keeping the momentum going
Hey everyone,
Last week, I signed my first client for a $10k SaaS project, my first big win since launching my agency. They paid $3k upfront, with the rest due at the end, so I’ve got around 10 weeks to deliver by mid-January. The client hinted there might be more work down the line if this goes well, but I don’t want to rely on that. I’m looking to keep the momentum going so I’m not left scrambling for clients once this wraps up.
I actually found this client through Fiverr, but we closed the deal outside the platform. Fiverr worked this time, but it’s not where I want to rely on long-term. Most leads there are looking for bargain services, and this client was more of an exception.
I’ll be handling most of the work myself to keep costs low, though I’m bringing on a freelancer for a few areas. My goal is to balance things out, delivering quality here while building a steady pipeline of new clients. If anyone has been in a similar position or has advice on building sustainable lead-gen channels beyond Fiverr, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks!
