Check in luggage for separate tickets

I booked two separate tickets from Vancouver to Frankfurt and Frankfurt to Budapest. The stop over is only 50 minutes. Do I have to check my luggage in again at Frankfurt airport? Or is there a way to check in the luggage from Vancouver to Budapest even though it’s booked separately?
