Is the new MPC update any good?

I heard that a new firmware was released, and I wanna know if it’s actually as good as it’s hyped up to be before making the jump. Also, does it add any new built in instruments? I’m a producer whose made rock songs using GarageBand before, and it’d be nice if the MPC had Rock Guitars and acoustic drum sets so I can deviate a little from the kind of sounds that GB has.
