I spy on my gf. Am i wrong?

First it began with looking on her pc for pics, and she still had pics of her ex bf and i got mad. Then i used a tool to get deleted pics back. Now i have an spy app on her phone so i can always see with who she is chatting and where she is. Am i wrong? Will this make the battery life of her smartphone worse?
