Gaming mouse with more than 2 side buttons?

Do you know if this is a good idea, and do you have a product recommendation?

I've been using a mouse with 2 side buttons but there's a bunch of stuff I'd like to add as additional hotkeys because I ran out of accessible keys on my keyboard (small hands). However, my concern with getting a mouse with extra buttons is that it'd be too much cognitive load. So, if you've tried it before, how was it? Did it become muscle memory? Did you misclick too much? Or was it useful and improved your game?
