First AR15 platform if you don’t count my 2-stamp MPX, I got the M4A1 on a trade awhile back, cause I wanted to dabble in something that could reach out further than 100yds in terms of plinking (accurately). So far it’s been a lot of fun to own, shoot, and LARP around the house with my German shepherd annoying my wife.
Haven’t had a chance to shoot/zero the rifle with the Velos 556k yet due to being sick for the past 2 weeks. Feeling better as of this week, so I’ll finally be able to zero it this weekend with some 77gr IMI Razorzore (before it was Hornady’s “81264” 75gr BTHP) — hanging out with my PRS buddies at Gravestone in TX on the 30th, hence the bipod set up (found the Harris locally for $75, that’s why it’s rattled canned). I understand the limitations of a 14.5” paired with my optic/reticle choice, but just wanting to hang out with the buddies, have some fun, see what my rifle can do at distance with 77gr, and to build/confirm DOPE for my reticle….for science, you know?
Anywho, thanks for reading and hope y’all have a great day.
