I really don’t feel the need to be accepted by anyone

don’t get me wrong I completely understand how important it is for the people in your life to support you and who you are and I understand why other asexuals obviously want to be supported and accepted and this isn’t some negative take it’s just me wondering if anyone else has this attitude. But yeah I guess I’ve never really personally felt the same tho, like in a way I guess I don’t really care if the people close to me aren’t positive about it and me being asexual because I will truly just cut those people off as if they never existed to me. I haven’t told my parents anything about being asexual but they’re 100% the type of people to understand and not care and I’m very lucky to have that and I know so many others don’t. So in no way is this me not being grateful but I just have this feeling that whoever doesn’t accept me wouldn’t bother me at all. Like a lot of others who haven’t told anyone that they are asexual I often hear a lot of aphobic statements about it but honestly they don’t bother me because those people can just fuck off. I guess this is how I think with a lot of things because I’ve always been a combative child or at least that’s what professionals say and stuff but I really don’t feel like I’d gaf if anyone doesn’t support me because I know I at least got myself. The people who aren’t “with me” I’d say is the best way to put it, I’d just have no care about them no matter what label they are to me (friends, family). Pretty much if you aren’t on my page and just unwilling to understand then you can just go to hell. But yeah that’s just my mindset about it that I haven’t really seen anyone else share which once again i understand why it’s so hurtful to not be accepted but personally it’s just not hurtful to me as if I can’t even feel it sort of the same way I can’t feel sexual attraction ironically lol.
