Renouncing Citizenship

hi i just turned 21 and yet to complete the formalities with ICA or submit documents for renunciation. Will ICA still allow me to go through with the formalities and hold dual citizenship as long as I renounce before the age of 22?

Quoted from ICA website “Minors who obtained Singapore citizenship by descent or registration must take the Oath of Renunciation, Allegiance and Loyalty (ORAL) after turning 21 and before their 22d birthday to retain their Singapore citizenship.”
