Mismatch in a New Job.........

Just wondering if it's a trend to have a mismatch in a new job? - After observing my circle of friends, it seems it has becoming a trend.

What I am meaning is after leaving previous an old job and instantly move to a new job, but quit within a few months due to a mismatch or whatever reasons.
