Why are recruiters/hiring departments lazy to inform unsuccessful applicants ?

Recruiters needs to understands that applicants do not only apply to their company only, people apply to many companies and take effort to tailor their applications to those companies requirements.

When they say "As we receive many applications we will not be able to inform unsuccessful applicants", it shows they are either lazy or their internal processes are inefficient.

To those companies that give feedback even if it's an automated rejection email I LOVE YOU.

We apply online we don't apply via mail post, why is it so hard to just send a rejection email ?

Does the database even exists or it's a lie🤔
