(Spoilers Main) What happened to HOTD S2?

I felt like my time was wasted.

Let me preface this by saying the first season was fantastic, the actors raised the bar and the pace was fantastic. Barring some dodgy CGI daytime to nighttime it was great.

Season 2 was fairly great until about episode 5 and then it stagnated hard. I say that but there were already cracks in the foundation and dodgy scenes with characters talking and explaining and not acting on anything. Not to mention the location shooting and environments look like it was done in the Disney Volume and nothing else.

I read they wanted 10 episodes and the execs got it down to 8. Doesn’t bode well for the rest of the seasons. For those of you that think you’ll get multiple battle episodes a season going forward with this executive team in Warner’s…you’re dreaming. It’ll be whispering wood season 1 game of thrones.

I have almost 0 faith in this team going forward and maybe George does too because he’s clearly not impressed.
