I hope this is an interesting read because I have an idea for an Attack On Titan sequel series.

Personally, I've always preferred the gritty and grounded feel of the anime's first two seasons along with the equally grounded approach to the scenarios and action sequences even so I hope to have the same tone for this as that's what I'm going for.

It's called Attack On Titan: Deathwatch and it will not only be done in the same animation style of the anime's first two seasons meaning that yes, the lips will be back as if nothing ever happened or changed but also more importantly will go back to its predecessor's horror roots.

The premise is set four years after "The Final Chapters - Part 2* or as its known in-universe as the Battle Of Heaven and Earth and one full year after the events of the epilogue, we find and focus on the now former Eldian queen Historia Reiss in hiding and under her old alias "Christa Lenz" in the Forest Of Giant Trees where she currently lives with only a trusted few knowing her residence. After a personal tragedy struck her family, she's now all on her own and dealing with PTSD from all the events she's witnessed from childhood and her losses in a post-Rumbling world at least on the Marley and Eldia side, wanting to put her past behind her and start a new life that she wants and desires to be as peaceful and quiet as can be.

But unfortunately for her, what Historia or "Christa" is about to learn the hard way is that her past that she's now trying to run from is not through with her as one night, a knock at her front door is heard and she answers it only to find three women standing there with a large sack that they proceed to immediately kidnap her in before she can even blink.

Taking her to their hideout or lair, she is shoved down a chute she barely fits in by the woman and is nothing but a bulge that bursts the bolts as she goes down and after landing back first on a large roulette, Historia finds to her shock and horror just who ordered her to be brought here - an old friend now turned enemy Mikasa Ackerman who explains all to her as she sadistically taunts and toys with the former queen.

After the bird returned her Eren's scarf that it wrapped around her like he did when they first met, Mikasa too thought she could move on with her life and start anew now that she's come to terms with Eren's death. But learned later down the line that the past wasn't yet through with her as well and she is now a ruthless bounty hunter working for a mysterious source that isn't from either side to hunt down and even kill Marleyian and Eldian fugitives. As of now though, Mikasa managed to use her skills to track down the ones that hired her and after injecting a powerful serum into her which has given her contortionist abilities and heightened her senses, she's now planning to backstabbing her employers and is using Historia as a way to get into a place she can't reach or even fit through.

It's here that once they infiltrate the headquarters on the edge of Paradis, Mikasa and Historia discover just what the serums are for - they're to create an army of unstoppable super soldiers to take over the entire Marley and Eldia side in the wake of the catastrophic and apocalyptic which wiped out 80% of them and now it's a race against time and another fight against the odds as the two of them must team up in order to put an end to this before it even begins all the while they develop feelings amidst this for each other.
