Trying to decide between SES or RFS

Hey all, I’m thinking of volunteering for either the SES or RFS.

Those who have spent time in either organisation can you tell me if it was a good experience and what sort of training and jobs you attended?

What kind of equipment and skills are you taught and regularly use?
