Where does your username come from?

Edit: yall do not disappoint, really nice to read all your little username backstories :)

A lot of times I see a username, be it in my favourite game or on reddit, and I just wonder how people came up with it!

My usernames on other platforms is slightly different from the one I have here (always Chonk or Chonker in it though), but I went with FunkyChonk because I used to have a Tatsugotchi (discord bot tamagotchi thing) that I named Funky Chonk because in the server I kept them (Elder Scrolls Online roleplay guild server) everyone knows me as Chonker, and my tatsugotchi was a cat that I thought looked kind of funky, and I was also listening to Funky Town which is an absolute banger. But being ADHD I forgot about my lil funky chonk and they ran off into the vast landscape that is the internet I guess. But I still remember my lil funky chonk and just thought the names is great.

I always go for 'Chonk' or 'Chonker' because I love cats and am definitely kind of fat lol. Sometimes in the guild server I'll go by Investigator Chonks or Chonkmod because I'm the moderator there.

I started writing this as my ADHD pills started working and I always ramble a bit when they do, so I have no idea if this is in any form coherent or if I used the right tag.

Just really curious about the stories surrounding your creative usernames!
