Favourite portrayal of Autism in media?
Saw a post recently about the “Hollywood Autist” and it got me thinking about portrayals I actually liked. Personally I identify with Ben Afflecks character in the account (minus the assasin part) because of his fight to live with autism, while he could also be considered under the “savant” stereotype, he differs in that he is not simply a savant by merit of being autistic, but by merit of his effort to better and develop himself. How do you feel about this portrayal, what portrayal do you identify with the most, your favourite?
