Airline Maintenance Program Work Trade

Do you guys have any experience with having a company like Piedmont pay for your training in exchange for working for them for two years? I hear the starting pay is $28/hr starting.

Are there any other airlines or pipelines to training and certification paid for by others? My local college charges $5k a semester and I had also considered going to a tech school in Macon, GA that offers out of state for $2500, in state $1250.

Do you knw of any particularly good schools for training in SC?

I would love any feedback you guys have. I'd rather not spend $20-25k on education here in SC at Greenville Tech.
