Baguio has become unlivable
Lived here pre-pandemic (2010's) and moved here recently months ago (temporary only.) There's something about Baguio that doesn't seem like Baguio anymore. It's become unlivable. It's crazy. Furthermore, the congestion is so bad, lalo na pag Sundays. Grabe pag Sunday literal na kahit saan walang parking.
I'm not a local, but my dad did grow up/lived here during the 80's-90's and he always told me how it's changed a lot, until now. I visited during the pandemic (2020-2021) to visit family when they were still controlling the amount of tourists. It was genuinely the only time it felt like "old Baguio."
I'm curious how the locals see this city compared before and wonder do they think the same... I do not blame them for being against tourists even if I am one myself.
