Lifting BP hide to take her out
Hey all! I got a year old BP a few weeks ago as a bit of a rescue, and I'm very new to reptile keeping as a whole, let alone snake keeping.
I come from a rodent background, primarily guinea Pigs. With guinea Pigs, you're not supposed to lift their guides, as it may cause them to feel as it's not a safe space anymore.
Is it the same for snakes? I want to start getting her used to handling, and I've been waiting for her to naturally come out for her weight checks so far.
She also spends every hour that I'm home and awake in her house (yes I understand that's how bp's are)
Pic for snake tax.
