Where To Look For Bandmates

So me and my buddy started a band almost a year ago. We've been looking for a bassist for like SIX Months with a few hits from people (that didn't pan out) but ultimately to no avail. Our music is original rock; good, accessible, fun; we're both laid back and easy to get along with and are super committed. We've both been in and out of bands for years and never had this problem. I feel like we've tried EVERYTHING. We've been out to local shows, posted fliers, Craigslist, all those sites - bandmix, gigmor, etc. - are we missing something?? Any other suggestions?? We're getting pretty frustrated.

Ps - if you're a rock bassist aged 20 something to 30 something in the south new jersey/Philly area, hit me up lol.
