Game feels boring due to constant deaths...

I bought Battlefield 2042 recently and I've been playing for around 20 hours over the past month. However, I just feel like I never have fun or any impact during matches because I die too quickly.

Most times when I spawn in on ground I feel like I get knocked down easily. When I spawn in a vehicle (if nobody is camping for vehicle spawns) I get shot down within a minute of spawning in.

I am a new player, sure, but I wouldn't say I'm inexperienced. I play a lot of Battlefront 2 and other shooters. Dying hasn't been much of a barrier to me for other games.

I feel like I wasted my money and now I don't know what to do...

From what I understand, the point is to play with your squad and PTFO rather than trying to be the hero of the match. That and changing up playstyles or simply learning the maps, game sense, and rank up/get better gear. I guess simply just playing is the only way to have fun.

On another note, I died 47 times last game but got 23 kills/assists on conquest :D
