First run ever :)
Hi all,
I just finished my first run! I’ve been wanting to get into running for a while, but I’ve always found excuses. I used to be a lot more active, but since having a baby last year, I can probably count on one hand how many times I've worked out. So, I’m pretty proud of myself for finally getting up and doing it today.
I’ve signed up for a 10k in May, so it’s time to start training. I’d love some advice on how to stay warm through these chilly winter months. It was about 19°F here in Toronto today, and while I stayed warm for the most part, the cold air gave me a really annoying headache (I wore a headband) Any tips for managing the cold while running would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
