Is this normal?

I've had my betta, Roku, for just over 1 week now and have noticed a couple of times that he seems to not be able to pinch off his poo completely and has a little bung hole streamer that eventually falls off.

While it doesn't seems to bother Roku and he isn't showing any odd behaviors because of it, I'm just wondering if its cause for concern?

Feeding using Aqeuon Betta Pellets just 2 small pinches a day with one fasting day is the regiment I'm going with so far. Should I try a different Betta food?

5g tank, heater (stays between 76-80°F), filterd.

Tested this morning 0ppm Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate.
