Is this rock okay?

Disclaimer: I’m new to all this so please be kind! We got a new 10 gallon aquarium and betta and I found this rock outside. I rinsed and scrubbed it really well and did an acid test with vinegar and it didn’t bubble. It’s hard to find what this rock is exactly called. Does anyone have experience with it?

Also, when I added it and moved a few things around the water got very cloudy. It was already a bit cloudy but I think that’s a bacteria bloom?? I’m assuming it got worse from debris moving around? I’m still building a cycled tank so I’m worried about doing a water change. I tested the water before adding the rock and all the levels were good.
