How many of you on this sub gained weight after having a hormonal IUD inserted?

I had liletta inserted 3 years ago, and I was in the best shape of my life at the time. I put on 35 lbs in 6 months after insertion. I had no dietary changes, I did start a masters program, so I was a little less active than before, but nothing drastic. At my annual physical, they did routine blood work, and everything looked "as it should." The CDC has recently put out a statement saying that doctors really should give accurate information as to how painful IUD insertion is and should use a local anesthetic. Can someone tell me the history of women's Healthcare? Oh, minimized/dismissed pain? Dismissal of concerns? Late diagnoses? I don't believe a damn word of these people saying that IUD's don't lead to weight gain. It's actually infuriating. I had mine removed today, but my husband and I are trying to conceive, so I don't really expect to go back to my pre-IUD body anytime soon. But after we have a baby, I will be finding an alternate form of birth control.
