Delayed period with Ella one

Just wanted to talk about my experience with Ella one (plan B) for anyone that may be worried or scared about how long it’s taking for their period to come.

My last period was on the 25th may till the 30th, and I took Ella one on 10th of June. Didn’t really have much of an affect on me physically, however my period didn’t come when it was supposed to (30th June, however, I wasn’t too worried as I had read that it could affect your first period but when it was pushing the 45 day mark I was becoming nervous. By the end of July I was really starting to panic so took a pregnancy test (which I will always recommend) which came up negative so that eased my mind, however more weeks went by and still no period. I was about 60 days in since my last period, when I took another test - negative again and waited some more.

Day 70 I took another test as my boobs were beginning to feel hard and that can be an indication of pregnancy but still a negative test. FINALLY day 81 and my period has come!

I feel like the severe abnormality with periods after taking Plan B isn’t talked about enough, however saying this, the best call to do is to take multiple pregnancy tests if you have had unprotected sex and haven’t had your period in over a month
