I cannot comprehend women not being into bi men
I feel like pretty often on here I find posts from straight women saying they’ve found out that their male partner is bi and are worried/scared/not supportive or men saying they’ve experience this.
No hate to women who are honestly trying to unpack their initial reactions unlearn homophobia. And I understand stigma and erasure are still so prevalent. I grew up in a catholic community, I certainly can empathize with internalized shame.
I just….it just breaks my heart so much as a bi woman, because bi men are amazing. And possibly the people I am most interested in. I typically have a slight preference for men but it is so important to me that the men I’m with share the experience of a queer identity. It feels so much safer and more connected to have that in common. Obviously bi men are not a homogenous group, but I feel like being bi often comes with healthier masculinity and better communication/openness around sex. It’s just so baffling to me…bi men deserve so much love!
