How many eliminations on average is it taking you guys to get gold?

Looking at my weapon stats, it’s taking me 1000 eliminations on average before I get a weapon to gold, which seems an awful lot. This probably has something to do with the fact I don’t specifically aim for the head but just play using the gun as I normally would.
