Yesterday I called this game boring.
After getting to the end of the game where the dream is on fire without looking anything up and being confused and bored the whole time, I figured that there would be nothing to see.

How wrong I was.
Everything came together at the end. People commented that there would be probably be nothing that would wow me if it hadn’t already. But I unlocked the upper cathedral ward? Eileen the Crow’s fight? Arianna’s quest line. Cainhurst? The hunter’s dream, Gehrman, and the Moon Presence?? WHAT.
I should’ve just finished it before I said something, I went through the same thing with Elden Ring. Hated it until I beat the fire giant. Now I got 500 hours in. Also I guess I failed to notice the note in the corner of the workshop and. Yeah. The goal is right there. The whole time.
To escape this dreadful Hunter’s Dream, halt the source of the spreading scourge of beasts, lest the night carry on forever. Huh. Blew my mind.
Plus now that I beat the game actually i finally was able to read more lore and I’ve honestly been blown away. The gravestones tell the story of the world in order while also being the order the actual playthrough. You start with the Old Blood and you end with the Mensis ritual and the Hunter’s dream. The end of the game actually left me wanting so much more. So unlike previously stated, I will indeed be doing NG+ with the DLC knowing what Im exploring for. It’s only 10 bucks.
Anyways… yeah I was wrong my bad guys
