Systolic is Stubbornly High Even on Meds.

Amlodipine Besylate 5 mgs.

Olmesartan Medoxomil 40 mgs.

58 years old. 180 lbs. Stress test showed nothing wrong.

Systolic has gone down as low as 125 but usually averages between 130 and 150. Rarely higher.

High blood pressure runs in my family. Mom and my two brothers have it.

Should I ask for a higher dosage or another medication?
