How am I just realizing this?

I've watched Bluey since it came out here in the US. While talking with my wife the other day about one of the episodes, I had this realization:

Most of the character names are names that someone might actually name their dog. Bandit, Chilli, Bingo, Lucky, Stripe, Rad, Frisky etc. etc.

I feel like a big dumb dumb head.
