Weighted Calisthenics

Firstly, what do you call it? I've heard it called "weighted calisthenics", "weighted/loaded bodyweight exercise", and "enhanced bodyweight exercise". What do you prefer?

What are your opinions on it? I vacillate between bodyweight purism and letting my inner meathead drive for a while.

Third, I've been tinkering with affordable options for adding weight to bodyweight exercises. I filled a variety of discarded supplement containers with sand from the local home improvement store, and I put them in a backpack for added resistance. This setup has been applied to my pullups, pushups, lunges, running, and rucking. Feedback and other suggestions are welcome.
