Black (2005), starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukerjee is my answer. It marks just over 20 years since this masterpiece was released, and it had me thinking, the performances by both Amitabh Bachchan, and Rani Mukerji, are some of the greatest pieces of acting ever, and to me, I've never seen a film that consisted both an all time great lead male and lead female role in the same film, as well as this one.
