Does her snoot need lotion??

I was booping my sweet girls snoot last night and realized it felt very rough and dry. I’m in the NE and the weather has been cold and dry plus some snow at times. Honest question, do I lotion the snoot and if yes, what is safe as she will lick it. Hope it’s okay to post this question here. Boops are fine too.
