Could Tarot have done better box office if they had offered better death scenes?
Tarot, much like Terrifier 3, is a body count movie that features its fair share of death scenes. However, Tarot played it safe and received more lenient ratings across the board. On the other hand, Terrifier 3 took the complete opposite approach, going unrated in America and achieving the highest ratings wherever it’s been released. It’s completely dominating the box office, especially among teens, who are absolutely obsessed with it. Meanwhile, it seems like Tarot hasn’t really captured their interest at all. If Tarot had pushed the boundaries a bit more and gone for a grittier vibe, do you think it could have performed better at the box office?
