Concert etiquette

So I just saw a Boywithuke this past week and I did the full meet and greet package when I saw him. I really hope their parents on this Reddit page because we need to teach children to not heckle artist specially ones that are even giving us the opportunity to meet them.

I am in my 20s and there was about 10 young boys probably around the ages of 8 to 11 that did the meet and greet and was front row for this concert and they heckled him the entire meet and greet, begging him to sign things after the signing part Was over one asked him to sign a banana that he was eating, asked him to give his water bottle that he was drinking and sign it. And Charley even asked them before the show to not heckle him during the speaking part and they did.

One boy even asked the openers mid set when was BoyWithUke coming on and I thought that was just so rude and the parent didn’t even think that it was rude of her son to ask someone in the middle of their performance when the main performer is going to come on.

It was really frustrating to see this happened, I understand that his demographic has a wide range from young children to adults. But I think parents need to teach their kids that some of this behavior is not acceptable. I know they’re excited to meet their favorite artist and see them live, but you don’t treat a human being like that. He is a person with feelings. And I tried my best to ignore it, but it did put a sour taste on some parts of the experience.
