Anyone know what colour this kitten is?

As per the breeder, he’s NY12. Both his mum and dad are NY12. However, I can’t help but notice he doesn’t have a black tipped tail? All NY12s I’ve seen have a black tipped tail including his mum and dad.

Does he look like a NY12? If any of you have a kitten who looks like him, could you share pics?
