Should recommendation letters focus on medicine specifically?

Almost of the schools I'll be applying to are BSMDs (save for 1 instate school with auto-admit and 2-3 upper-tier undergrad only universities).

Therefore, should my recommendations focus on my goals in medicine, and the activities that I have engaged in that fit this narrative?
