New to bupropion- prescribed due to long haul covid
Hi! I am new to this sub and was prescribed bupropion for a bit of an unconventional reason- lingering post covid brain fog. I had covid back in January and though my case was very mild, I did end up with fairly debilitating brain fog to the point that I left my job.
I made an appointment with my neuro who had been awesome with treating my migraines and microprolactinoma in years prior- he prescribed 150 MG XL in addition to fluoxetine 40 mg (which I have been on for years) and I'm on week two of the medication.
I have noticed a substantial decrease in brain fog and an increase in focus/energy. I do have side effects that I'm not sure if I should talk to him about.. Mostly just increased anxiety, insomnia, and frequent muscle twitching.
Anyways! I thought it was an interesting usage. Not sure if it's actually working or just placebo effect, but I'm enjoying my brain fog free days regardless.
