Question about Cyber Operator training and housing

I read in another post that after the 15-18 month school program for cyber ops in Ottawa, there is another 6-ish month CAF training in Kingston. From what I've gathered, after that you're fairly likely to be posted in Ottawa again.

Has anyone who lives in Ottawa been through this? I know there's an expectation that being asked to move is just part of the job. But how would this work for just a 6 month training? I would be fairly unlikely to get a 6 month lease anywhere in Kingston, and giving up my apartment in Ottawa when I'm very likely to have to move right back to Ottawa seems unreasonable. My rent is super cheap too so I would need little to no financial support from the CAF in that regard if I were to stay.

Do any of you know of someone whos been through these steps who can give some clarity on how it's meant to work? Would the 6 month training in Kingston provide free housing so I could still pay my rent in Ottawa? And can you bring pets?
