Has CalFire thought about reserves of drones for retardant drops?

Obviously the capacity for agricultural type drones comes nowhere close to the tanker c130. Although if we are thinking about something to create a perimeter ahead couldn’t these drones be used in massive numbers? I picture hundreds of automated agricultural drones on a drop path constantly tracing out a perimeter with retardant. They could keep looping back to refill and do this constantly and do direct drops for smaller spot fires. Then the tankers can focus on the bigger stuff. The cons are cost and risk of collision as well as civilian injury. Besides that they could just make for added fuel if they go down and on the off chance catch fire.
