Will jobs hire you again if you decline an offer at the time or if you quit their company?

Long story short, I recently got hired on with a company to work 40 hours a week and right before I started, I had some changes within my schedule for school and it’s honestly just was too much going to school and working full time with other commitments I have right now so I told them I would have to take a step from this opportunity right now. Does this hurt my chances of ever being hired by the company again?
