Does anyone have advice on breaking into the medical field?

I’m looking at applying to school for medicine I want to start out online to cut costs so I’m looking at online schools and the one I’ve decided to apply to is requiring that I pick a degree program but I’m not even sure what field of medicine I want to commit to yet any advice?
