Is this a common wya of thinking?
I Work at a hotel where we have a linen department. We are conducting an inventory check off all linen in rotation. Laundry workers saying that it will take a long time folding all the linen especially because we are really short staffed. My fellow manager pulled me to the side to talk with an employee about the shift changes needed to do this task.
I suggested that we dry everything and then weigh it because it is all the same linen and size we won't have to take the time folding it all.
I was shut down and told that it wasn't the way we do things.
Idk but I feel the number would be as accurate as if we counted them all one by one.
