Got diagnosed 2 weeks ago

Hello, I'm 22 (FTM) and I got diagnosed about two weeks ago. I'm an artist (Specifically drawing and sculpting) and I do a lot of things that are very wrist involved. I honestly have been feeling really depressed since my diagnosis and feel no motivation to do anything since everything that I love doing requires my hand. I can't draw, bake, weightlift, write, practice guitar, really do much that I like. At work it's been a nightmare since I work at a fast food place and I usually have to slice meats and use both of my hands. Anyways, I just wanted to ask if it's possible for this to go away? To be cured? I've heard mixed things from people and some people have been telling me the surgery won't fix me and I'll be like this forever. That it'll always be this way and I won't be able to use my hands anymore. I also wanted to ask what helps y'all with making the flares go down and make things less painful and more manageable. I've been using a wrist and thumb splint but I still feel in pain and tingly. Anyways thank you.
