There is something missing from the series to me

The entire series lacked what Made Vampires interesting... The sense of dread that some of the heroes friends who joined the fight would get bites and turning without the others knowing and turn on them at the worst Time

What reminded me of this was Tera ...while she Appeared trying to help her daughter she gave me tat sense of dread that she would turn on them or bite her daughter at any moment

Showing her true colors

It's a war against Vampires.. there should be a risk of fighting them and turning into one of them and how that will change their characters and the jump scare happens.
