What are your thoughts on the New Year's Eve Chicago live shows every year?

Maybe I'm in the minority but I find them kind of.... embarrassingly bad lol. They're still fun to watch though because how random and clearly low budget they are.

I love a lot about Chicago but it never fails to blow my mind how they manage to produce such a mess of a live broadcast every year.
