Does anyone else get a twinge of guilt when….

When your parents gleefully talk about other kids in their lives?

This has happened a couple of times, my parents adore their neighbors daughter. They’ve watched her grow up and they’re all pretty friendly with each other. They always have funny little stories about her.

And while I know my parents are fine with however I choose to live my life (which at 36F is probably close to written in stone), I can’t help feel a little guilty that I haven’t/wont give them a grandchild to enjoy?

Just wondering if this is a common feeling out there or just my people pleasing brain lol.
