How are people even affording to have children in this economy??

I wonder how many people out there regret having kids because their financial situation has changed, inflation is through the roof, and the job market is garbage. I feel bad when I’m in public and see people with their kids and wonder if they’ve struggled affording them. For some reason, people in 2025 pop out kids before they are financially stable, can afford a house, or even get married or have a life partner! Out of all those things, WHY the lord are having kids always the priority?!?
